Iroha annoyed me from the very beginning. I saw some saying that she is same as Himari from Boy-Girl Friendship, but... No. She is worse.
Yes, Himari's behavior can still be considered toxic, but context matters. Or at least the way she was introduced to us in that show. We learnt right away, that she is a long friend, that she did actively help Yuu with his hobby. Her teasing also was not constant or just for laughs for her own sake. It was closer to pals' banter, I'd say. Even if that was not the case, Himari was still introduced as a more complex character from the get-go.
Iroha is teasing straight up for her own laughs, and nothing more, consequences be damned. She was actively sabotaging the guy, which Himari would not do. At the same time she is not really a friend, she is sister of a friend. First episode did not show her as anything but a random stranger (even made an accent on that part). Unclear why she even has a key to the apartment (and not willing to watch 2nd episode to learn why, even if it is explained there).
But I guess that's a counterbalance for that other anime where the roles are reversed, so some will like it... I'm just not among those people.
