In what world is she ugly?
She is not a "catwalk model", perhaps, but "ugly"?.. Nah. She is just normal. Kind of like some side-characters in other anime and manga, which are meant to "not stand out". But does that automatically mean that she is not allowed to take care of the flowers? I got that even less than the notion of her being "ugly". Why does it have to be a bishoujo who takes care of the flowers in the class? Flowers do not care about the looks. If that was the case, then flower in my aquarium would have never bloomed.
Regardless, so far feels relatively generic, although Tabata is voiced by Yor, which can certainly attract some. End of the 1st episode hinted at a potential love triangle, so I will see how that goes, to decide if I will continue watching.
