I guess this is meant to replace Karaoke Iko. Or is it even a prequel, considering how Nikaidou looks somewhat similar to Kyouji. In this show it's a bit less subtle that this is a romance. I think. But probably at the cost of the plot. At least with Karaoke there was some specific goal, while this show is more of a set of [almost] unrelated episodes in the lives of the 2 boys. Either way, not my thing.
