This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Ima Smakyu is an Au Ra of the Xaela. She spent her childhood and teenage years in the Torgud tribe on the Azim Steppe. She hunted desert game for her tribe using daggers. Because of her small size, she learned to rely on stealth during her hunts. She became an adept fighter.
She was kidnapped by the Oronir to fight for them at the Naadam, which she did for a few years. One night in Reunion, after the fighting, she met a rogue from Limsa Lominsa. He was being mentored by a Doman ninja who agreed to take her on as a student also.
They asked what her name was. She said her childhood name was Ay Yaruq ("Moonlight"), but she had been taken before she received her adult name. The rogue drunkenly suggested "Ima Smakyu" as a joke, and she liked it. She escaped from the Oronir with their help, and went with them when they returned to Eorzea.
She tried dressing in her traditional Torgud 'dress', a layer of white clay paint, after she moved to Eorzea. When the first rainstorm left her naked in the middle of Limsa Lominsa, she decided Eorzean clothing was more practical for her life as an adventurer.
