Born in Werlyt, Zylphia fled the Garlean occupation for the shaded boughs of The Black Shroud and Gridania. She travelled the forests as a hunter and mercenary, honing her skills with a lance until she was finally able to join the Lancer's Guild.
Since the Final Days and her final confrontation with Zenos, Zylphia lost touch with her inner dragon. Forced to retire from being a Dragoon until she can feel it again, she instead took up the Grimoire and became a Summoner, using the sheer amount of Primal aether she's been exposed to for good.
With the arrival of Wuk Lamat and their subsequent trip to the New World, Zylphia has become enamoured with Tuliyollal and has chosen to remain there for the time being, offering Vow Lamaty'i her sage counsel whenever she's asked. She may well move on eventually...but Tural will be a home to her for many years to come.
