Saseal is a very serious and prudent young Miqo'te, taking little time out for fun and games. Because of this, he comes across as older than he really is. Because of this, he has a tendency to either be completely focused on one particular task that has eluded him for years... or be completely devoted in throwing himself into helping his friends and full company, the Chocobo Crusaders.
Before the Calamity, Saseal lived with Taiga - his meek little brother, their long-time family friend Katrina and their father, Saiyaku, a retired paladin. When catastrophe struck Eorzea, the brothers were separated in the chaos, despite Saseal's best efforts to keep everyone together. When the dust cleared and the fires burnt themselves out, Taiga was nowhere to be seen. Because of this, he'd since become protective of Katrina - who had come to live with the Korei miqo'tes after her brother and last of her family had been considered dead in the previous battles against the Garleans. She had been entrusted into the Korei family's care.
Because there was no such body or fragment of proof of Taiga's death, Saseal has taken upon himself as a life-long mission to find his beloved lost brother.
Saseal's usual habits are that of training on the full company's training dummy to strengthen himself; tooling and crafting leather goods for his FC - as well as for money to fund his expeditions for his searches; meditating (in which incurs terrible attempts at finding high places to sit and do so); being mediator and ear for those having troubles and wandering off at first sign of evidence of Taiga's appearance anywhere in Eorzea. Nowhere is too far.
His personality is usually one that is steady and quiet, but because he feels responsible for Katrina - the hyur his family took in and adopted after the Calamity - and terrible guilt for his brother, he can sometimes be a little mother hennish in fear of losing yet another.
While his temper is hard to agitate, his anger can be explosive depending on topic.
