This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Born I'yugi Tia, Gideon Storm changed his name at age 17, when he decided that he felt more like a Hyur than a Miqo'te. In an event similar to pulling a random slip of paper out of a hat filled with many, Gideon chose this moniker on a whim, picking up 'Storm' as a surname as it was thunderstorming that day.
Although he'd be hard-pressed to admit it, he finds it very difficult to not enunciate his r's too much, as a male Miqo'te is wont to do.
Gideon is friendly, albeit shy, and sometimes he lets his temper get the best of him. He'll immediately apologize afterward, though, since he's not keen on making enemies.
Combat-wise, Gideon prefers to attack from a distance, not because he's afraid of dying, but --
-- no, it's totally because he's afraid of dying. And he likes magic, so the two come together.
As far as hobbies go, he enjoys fishing and cooking, as well as reading when he can. He has no penchant for fashion, and finds mage robes comfortable, although everyone else finds them fairly hideous. Though he appears to have a relatively decent intellect, sometimes simple terms go over his head, hence the fairly common shrug you may see him do.
