This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Rumpleteazer was named after one of the sneaky burglar's in a duo from the musical "Cats". Her counter part is a male twin named Mungojerrie (which she has yet to find in Eorzea).
Since there didn't seem to be a profession in Eorzea which showed her stupendous cat-burglary skills, she opted to show off her sing and dance and became a Bard. She had spent some time in Eorzea, particularity in Ul'dah as the presence of coin and other dancing cats was extremely comforting. She met many people who became her friends along the way, who seemed sort of drawn to her. Perhaps it was her upbeat and adventurous personality. None the less, friends were made, and even lost sadly.
The adventures were many, and Rumple was really becoming in love with Eorzea and all it had to offer. But then the calamity struck. Rumple had watched as the red object in the sky grew bigger and bigger until it seemed as if it would fall right out of the sky, and in a way it did. She was there when the battles happened. Monsters invading cities in the hundreds, the great battle in Mor Dohna. All was chaos, and then she saw it. The Elder Primal Bahamut released from his prison.
Her eyes were wide, and she watched from a near by ledge as he erupted forth, destroying all he could see. There was a flash of light and then it was black, but Rumple could tell she wasn't dead, she was frozen. Frozen some where in time waiting to be released.
