It's ok. Probably not the most dramatic timeloop ever. Certainly breaks the conceptual limitations of a timeloop quite freely somewhere in the middle of the story, and without even acknowledging it to any extent. The happy ending felt a bit anticlimactic, maybe even forced. Almost Psychonauts-like character design will not be for everyone, but otherwise the stylistic approach is good. From what I've read source material actually had the guy as main character, wonder if swapping them changed much. Especially if original was the same story, but from his perspective: that probably would feel very different.
Anyway, overall good one-evening watch, 7/10.
