Is it Halloween already? Old school semi-horror vibes. Especially music, which probably makes sense since Scorsese and Spielberg are involved. At least, I do remember that Spielberg movies relied quite heavily on the music and transitions in it. From cinematography the show reminds me of Final Destination movies: the scenes are staged in a way, that you anticipate that something will happen, but then something "benign" is shown to you instead. This kind of shows usually come out in October/November, but I guess Halloween started early this year.

Did they include AI theme into the story? 🤔

And the reveal at the end of the episode - chef's kiss. Like, there were a couple of hints, that suggested that he was close, but that he was this close?

Episode 10:

The 2nd half of the show feels a bit drawn-out. You already get a general idea of how things will end around episode 6. The story jumps around a bit, trying to confuse the tracks, but ultimately goes in the same anticipated direction. You do get really good and visceral atmosphere, but the finale feels a bit anticlimactic, because it was anticipated.

So definitely do not go in expecting surprising plot twists. Go in for the mentioned atmosphere, performance, cinematography and music. Those are quite solid on their own, but make up an even stronger combination. Or at least strong enough for a couple of evenings.
