I did not expect this to get a 2nd season, to be honest. First season felt complete enough. Existence of "the present" felt a bit forced, but it is something that I can see being used in manga. It also makes sense that, at least in the 1st episode, focus was more on Issei, and he is kind of the "trigger" for whatever happens next. It does not make much sense, that the auctioneer probably could try to get in contact with the seller, but did not, but at the same time the vendor of the wine somehow knew who was the seller. But may be my experience with 0 auctions is it play here.

So that hospital has no workers at all? Issei came out in a gown and no one even called out to him? Not even a receptionist or someone?

Is this turning into "Around the world in 80 days" or something?

Painfully boring and not interesting last episode. It is realistic, but... Not fun to watch this aftermath of stupidity and betrayal. I guess this is the overall theme of the season, though: trying to bore us to death. First one was way better, had a clear goal, and narrative was moving towards it properly. 2nd one tried to tell multiple stories at once and, in the end, was about nothing.
