Episode 2:
Maybe I should not have 2 weeks between the first 2 episodes. Practically all that I remember from the 1st one was that it was very fast-paced. Barely anything else was retained in my brain. I am not sure there was much plot there even. Which could be fine for an action/chase kind of show. I do not dislike that, so thought I would watch 2nd episode as well, but got delayed for about a week.
Gods, it was slow. I did not finish the last 5-10 minutes of it. It was not just that it slowed down or that there were moments where it did to tell a more emotional parts of the story. It just completely halted, as if there was no more chase, no more rush, and Lucky had all the time in the world. She was not safe, yet she relaxed for like half a day in a house in the middle of a desert, which she would know will be found pretty fast.
And she would know that, because she is presented as "smart". 1st episode did show that she was "quick on her feet", but in this one other characters were trying to convince us, that she is more than that. The fact that she behaved somewhat stupid is not a problem, though: I can explain that with stress, with her hitting her head, whatever. Problem is that every other character is trying to "be smart" as well. While eradiating "arrogance". They felt obnoxious and lacking in personality otherwise.
So, yeah, not necessarily a bad start, but then it just bombed. Visually is quite good, though, even if you remove Anya from the picture. Is it worth watching, though? For me - no. For you - maybe as background show or if you are a hard stan for Anya.
