It's a silly one. A good kind of silly, I guess?
The animation and art-style are probably not for everyone. Especially the animation, since it needs some time to get used to. Unlike with TV show "Undone" I, personally, got used to the choppy frame-rate quite fast, though, but your milage can vary. That's the nature of rotoscope animation. The simplicity of the style is sometimes hit or miss, because there were some scenes that felt lush with details in the background, which made lack of details in characters stand out more.
Story-wise... It's a bit of a slow start, for sure. A bit weird and... "Off-beat"? Portions of the first third of the movie felt almost random. They, nevertheless, did manage to build the feeling of "this is a living world", as well as overall vibe of the movie. When Hana and Alice meet, the pace certainly picks-up, and narrative becomes more focused, since now there is a clear goal. Interactions between Hana and Alice, as well as misunderstandings (that drove the plot) were much more funnier, too, and made me think of Mark Twain's stories somehow.
I'd give it a 7.5/10 overall. Good evening watch. But, kids, please, don't sleep under cars.
